CES 'Better Questions' contest: Win Vista Ultimate, CS3, Zune and more

In preparation for CES 2008, which kicks off in Las Vegas on Sunday, we have decided to give away a number of products that have been gathering dust around the office. All you need to do to win is come up with a good question.

The rules are easy: leave a comment below with a question we should ask at CES. This question can be directed at a specific manufacturer or general technology. It should be something that would be interesting to other BetaNews readers and that it is possible to answer. We will post answers to the winning questions as we ask them during the event.

Extra! UIdaho Student Found Shot to Death

I had avoided doing so because I had heard getting into the show required great dedication and frankly, I didn't think i had the time. I have since purchased the first three seasons, having watched the first two seasons in less than two weeks time. I am half way through the 3rd season and not looking back. My question for the forum: do you watch this show? Do you find it as thrilling, exciting and thought provoking as I do? Jack Bauer for president '08? I really need to know if I am alone with this as my sleep pattern has been significantly altered since becoming a "24 freak"?! Also, I figured this show may be popular with the HBO crowd so advice from you regulars is much appreciated!

First Look: iTunes Digital Copy

When you buy one of these videos on DVD or Blu-ray, you'll also get a version of the movie that's compatible with iTunes and Apple's associated media players.

The result? You'll no longer need to use time-consuming—and legally questionable—methods, such as ripping your own DVDs using HandBrake, to be able to watch your movies on your iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV. With Digital Copy, you'll have an iTunes-compatible version right out of the box.

Though Apple hopes other movie studios latch on to iTunes Digital Copy, Fox is the only one participating right now—and with only one specific movie at the time of this writing. We plunked down $12.99 for a copy of Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest, marked with a sticker advertising that it included the bonus Digital Copy.
